All the functionality of an LMS in a native mobile learning application.
That’s a lot of words. We know. But they are really important words.
Let’s start with the last four - native mobile learning application. It’s not uncommon for a learning technology provider to offer a “web app,” which means the user accesses the mobile version of the LMS from a browser on their phone or tablet. Most providers optimize that experience based on the individual user’s choice of device and browser. Intellum has been offering a mobile-optimized Web version of the Intellum platform for many years.
A very small handful of providers now offer native mobile apps, a smartphone/tablet application that is built from the ground up for iOS or Android devices. Native mobile apps perform much faster, are more reliable and often improve the user experience.
The problem is that other native mobile learning applications do not include all of the functionality of the desktop version of the provider’s LMS. This often means the learner can not access all file types or learning experiences from the mobile app. This typically includes critical assets like videos, assessments, surveys and evaluations.
The result is that your users abandon these mobile apps quickly while you miss out on an incredibly effective engagement tactic.
We believe that a native app should allow the user to access your learning environment, in its entirety, from any mobile device. So we built the industry's first fully-functional native mobile learning application to deliver an even more streamlined and engaging mobile learning experience to your learners.
We agree that “fully-functional native mobile learning application” is a mouthful, but we also think it’s a game-changer.
