Adding questions to test learner knowledge is a key part of any e-learning, so Evolve has a built-in Question template to make this super easy.
When adding a new Section, select any of the Question templates, such as this Multiple Choice option. Then add in your title, and add and remove text as you need it for your question.. Adding the correct options is as easy as adding them into each of the available answers. We start with three options as standard, but we can add or delete options from the settings menu.
Here we can also change the type of question, whether it's multiple choice with only one correct answer, or multiple response, with more than one. Changing to Multiple Response here allows you to make that distinction.
We can even add images into our answers if we wish and, as with the flip cards, we can duplicate, delete or add further options as needed.
Once we have our question and options set up, we need to select the correct answers. In this case, all answers are correct, so we'll need to select all of them. In a simple multiple-choice scenario, we'd only be able to select one of them.
We can customize this element further over here in the Settings tab, The requirement to have to answer this question for course completion can be toggled, and the number of attempts the learner is allowed to take. If we select infinite attempts, it will mean that learners can keep guessing until they get the question right.
Next, we want to add feedback that appears when our learners answer the question. This can be done by selecting from five different types of feedback. These include feedback for correct and incorrect answers, feedback for attempts when more attempts are still available, final feedback for when all attempts have been used, and feedback for partly correct answers.
Once we've selected the feedback we want to edit, we simply type into the box to customize the feedback message. With that, our question setup is complete.
