To begin creating content, use the Add Course button. Select 'Create Course' from the menu, then give your course a name. We will call ours "Welcome to Evolve" as it will serve as an introduction to the tool.
You'll then be taken to the Page Builder. The layout is super simple, featuring a toolbar at the top, housing all the features and functionality you need. Starting from the left, we have our main menu from which we can navigate back to the Dashboard , access course settings, and helpful links should you need them. You can also find course actions in here such as duplicate and delete. The Publish button is also found in here, which we will explore once we're ready to share our course.
All new courses start out with just one page, and here, just after the course title you will find the page menu. By selecting the arrow, you can view and manage course pages, and add new ones. This toggle allows you to switch between the desktop and mobile versions of your course .
Over on the right of the screen, this colored square contains our initials. and if more than one square displays, like this, it shows that other members of your team are working on the same course with you.
Next, we have three very useful features you will be using. The first one is course backups. The second is theming , and the third is comments, and we will go into more details on these features in their respective videos. This share option allows you to generate a quick preview link to share with others, and finally the preview option where you can open your course fullscreen, to see it as your learners will.
The main area is our stage, or building area, which is currently empty. On the right we have the Settings column where we can customize the items we add to the stage as we build.
